Challenge:
The company Pão de Beijo wanted to launch a new product on the market: Pão de Beijo, a vegan snack. For this, it relied on BST Design to create the logo and develop its packaging. The main challenges were: communicating clearly about the ingredients that would be composing the product; to show that, in addition to being healthy, it is very tasty, also seeking to connect a target audience that is not restricted to vegans, despite being a product without ingredients of animal origin.


Strategy & Creation:
In the development of the logo and packaging, images of the product in its mode of consumption and “windows” were used, allowing the consumer to visualize the product. To convey modernity and harmony, a typographic arrangement and illustration work was carried out. Thus, a cheerful and visually informative layout was created.

We use some easy-to-understand visual devices, which are illustrations and vernacular typography. Thus, our creative team began studies to develop, through illustrations, all the main ingredients that make up the product: cassava, saffron, sesame, garlic, parsley and onion. And, in the text, we also highlight: manioc flour, sea salt, potatoes and sesame oil, all natural ingredients that can be consumed and carry the vegan "seal".



Result:
The packaging of Pão de Beijo made it possible to launch a product that, through its design, showed its commitment to health, the environment and its customers. In 2018, the packaging won the ABRE Award, one of the biggest packaging design awards in Brazil. In addition, it is a visually attractive product at points of sale and that speaks to its target audience.
